Because sometime you're all you got. Feeling sad and depressed is an experience E V R Y O N E of us will face in life no matter how old we are. Coming from a girl who feels like that most of the time, here are some things you can do to cheer yourself up. Temporary happiness is still happiness so just do it.
I actually wanted to make a video about this but I lost the motivation to. Plus my camera ran our of battery and I can't find the charger so fuck it I'm just gonna write it blog it.
- 1. Talk to your pets. If you don't have any pets, talk to your plush. If you don't have a plush, talk to your pillow. Because you need to let it out, whatever you're sad about. The more you keep it in, the more miserable you'll be. Sure they won't be able to understand or talk back but isn't that better? You can swear, you don't have to make sense, your volume is unlimited.
- Listen to a song and pretend like it's singing to you. Like every word to that lyrics are made FOR you. This works best if the singer/band is your favorite singer/band. e.g "LOOK AT THE STARS, LOOK HOW THEY SHINE FOR ME AND ALL THE THINGS I DO AND IT WAS CALLED YELLOW."
- DANCE RECESS! If you do not know what dance recess is, it's basically dancing with no rules or whatsoever. You don't have to be good at dancing perform a dance recess. e.g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hRJsQxgJAg
- Self motivation. You can do this in front of the mirror or sitting down or while driving. I usually do it while lying on my bed. e.g. "You are one badass motherfucker, nothing and no one can bring you down. Five months from now, this will not matter and everything will be okay eventually. THIS. TOO. SHALL. PASS." well it can go on and on until have the strength to get up.
- Now this is more of a last resort. If none of those things work, SLEEP. Not to forget or be ignorant about your feelings/problem/issues but to take a break from it. Let's face it, we can only take too much and our brain need a quiet moment to think of a solution. I'm not saying you can sleep for 2 days straight, just take a nap. Wake up and try again.
